Drawing on over 30 years as a (now retired) doctor, I have seen what works for those moving forward after major life, health, and work transitions. The stakes can be high at those times, and the ripple effects large, yet it can be an energising and transformative time once you are feeling back in control of the next steps. I bring thoughtful challenge, creative and structured tools to help you untangle what matters, define clear outcomes and take decisive, practical steps toward meaningful change.

This is where the magic happens! We start by agreeing the what, when, where, how of the session(s), to meet your needs and to respect mutual boundaries. 

 

Coaching for Meaning

Most people undergoing coaching have in mind a desired outcome from the session, and we will explore what it would mean to you to get that. This connects you to your why, and is what will provide you with the energy and focus needed to make desired changes. 

 

To explore how you derive meaning, we can evaluate your underplayed/overplayed

  • Strengths
  • Values/virtues
  • Drivers

Those three areas, when balanced, can serve as your compass through frequent volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) situations in life/health and work. A virtuous cycle/ sense of ease can return with that balance. When out of balance, things often feel more effortful and part of a vicious cycle.

 

We can also keep things playful and creative to explore meaning and your options.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Elsker Lab and me:

  • "Elsker" is Danish for "love" and is also a vocabulary remnant from my birth-country and early childhood 
  • "Love" is my top strength, measured by  VIA Character Strengths . For me this is about living a connected life that is grateful and appreciative
  • "Lab" reflects the "science-y" part of my brain
  • I am retired doctor who has greatly enjoyed a succesful and varied 30+ career as a occupational physician, see my LinkedIn profile below. 
  • I also have relevant lived experience, having "walked the talk" when navigating various health, life and work challenges.

I offer Whats App video calls and for those who are local to me in RG9/South Oxfordshire, I offer walking coaching sessions. 

 

Duration:

Each session is 1 hour.

 

Prices:
